ARCS called for OIC Cooperation on the treatment of children with a whole heart

KABUL (BNA) Head of the Afghan Red Crescent society, in a meeting with the special representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Afghanistan, asked for the cooperation of that organization in the treatment departments of mental patients and children with atrial septal defect (ASD).

The head of ARCS, Mawlavi Mutiul Haq Khalis, met Tariq Ali Bakheet, the special representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for Afghanistan, and Dr. Mohammad Saeed Al-Ayash, the representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Afghanistan.

Mr.Khalis expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of that organization with the people of Afghanistan and called the OIC in the field of cash aid for the treatment of mental patients and the treatment of children with perforated heart disease.

The special representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation assured cooperation in the mentioned sectors and promised to cooperate in the establishment of the artificial organs manufacturing center.
