Kabul (BNA) Another round of negotiations between Afghans with participation of 60 Afghan politicians and Taliban’s representatives will start in Qatar today and continues for two days.
BNA political affairs analyst commenting on the issue writes another round of negotiations among Afghans hosted jointly by Germany and Qatar starts in Doha today and continues for two days. 60 Afghan politicians have been invited to take part in the session. Hamid Karzai the former president and Afghan government will not participate in the session and Afghan government has no any role in it.
Earlier, also the Afghan politicians participated in two sessions with Taliban held in Moscow but had no any consequences on the process of peace in Afghanistan. Moscow sessions had been held in lack of Afghan government representatives.
Many believe that non- existence of Afghan government’s representatives that can take effective decisions in the political process of Afghanistan, holding such sessions won’t have any meaning. Therefore, Doha session won’t be more constructive than Moscow or Lahore sessions.
The people insist that Afghan government should have a vital role in peace negotiations otherwise any sessions will have no result and meaning.
The new developments in Afghan problem indicate that covered and uncovered hands of foreigners have been active on the issue every one of them is seeking their own interests and forgotten Afghan interests that caused the Afghans’ concerns.
Our people believe that the sessions behind closed doors that the people do not know about their context cannot provide us peace and decrease the problems but increase suspicions that another deal is on the way that should not be ignored.
The conflicted behavior of foreign circles and countries and interior differences provide the ground for foreigners to make decision about our national issues.
These are the indicators that differences and prejudice among people are harmful for our people and country because the foreigner using this opportunity further interfere in our national and domestic affairs.
In such a situation political awareness is required; the Afghan people should be organized under the umbrella of their politicians and not permit the foreigners to interfere in our national and domestic affairs anymore. Just unity and saying no to all kinds if prejudices provide us the opportunity to overcome the current problems.
If Taliban are committed to ensuring Afghan national interests, showing bravely inter in to negotiations with Afghan government and desist fighting against security forces and killing Afghan people.
