Faizabad (BNA) Ten armed militants were killed and eight others injured in a clearing operation conducted by police forces in Badakhshan province.
Lal Mohammad Ahmadzai police chief of Badakhshn said BNA, the operation conducted aiming to eliminate several regions from existing of armed insurgents, in which 10 Taliban militants lost their lives and eight others wounded .
Numerous weapons and ammunition were seized by police forces.
According to Ahmazai, a local police was also martyred and another wounded in the operation.
