Strategic Long-term Agreement With Germany To Be Signed

Kabul (BNA) The long-term agreement of cooperation between Afghanistan and Germany will be signed before holding of the NATO heads of state conference of Chicago to be held in USA. 
Stephen David spokesperson of the German Chancellor said that President Hamid Karzai will meet with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel on 16th of May 2012. 
The meeting between the two leaders will take place on the threshold of Chicago conference. 
He added that president Karzai and Merkel will also discuss preparation of the leaders meeting and they will also sign the bilateral agreement between the two nations. 
It should be noted that Afghanistan has singed strategic long-term cooperation agreements with India, Italy, France, England and the US and it is planned that such agreements will also be signed with Germany, Australia, Belgium and the European Union.
