Asadabad (BNA) The security officials of Kunar province reported from clearing of several regions from insurgents.
The operations started with attendance of hundreds police and support of air forces in several parts of Ghaziabad District since a week and still continues.
Selab army corps media’s office with releasing a statement told BNA, dozens regions of Kunar province cleared from ISIS fighters and Taliban.
According to reports, from beginning of the operation till now, 36 armed associates of ISIS and Taliban terrorist groups were killed and tens others have been injured.
The operation is ongoing in Ghaziabad District.
