Friday, November 18th, 2011 Kabul. Afghan local officials reported of a large military operation launched against armed Taliban in Nooristan province. According reports, this operation has been started by the Frontier police and the National Army forces support by NATO air-crafts yesterday in Kamdish district, where it is said the Taliban penetrated and caused casualties to the armed Taliban. There is no report about Afghan forces and civilians casualty. It is said that the operation has been launched as the request of the residents of the area. The security officials said, the operation will be continued to be destroyed Taliban nests in that district.
