Armed Taliban Rebels Killed in Helmand Conflicts

Kabul (BNA)  14 armed Taliban rebels were killed in suburb of Lashkarga bazaar last night.
A National Army commander in the south of the country told BNA, in the conflicts 14 armed Taliban militants lost their lives.
The clashes occurred while security forces attacked on hideouts and convoys of Taliban in Lashkarga city.
It is said that there were no any losses suffered to security troops and residents in the clashes.
According to another report, security forces discovered and defused two mines which were planted by armed insurgents in Lashkarga and Sangeen district of the province.
A security official of Lashkarga said, with planting of the mines, Taliban wanted to organize a fatal event to civilians, but not succeeded to their evil goals.
No one has been detained in the connection of the case, but efforts are underway by security forces to identity and arrest the suspects of the event.
