Sheberghan (BNA) A Taliban member has joined peace process in Jawzjan.
According to a spokesperson of Jawzjan police Hekmatullah Aminzada, Barakatullah, who was active as armed Taliban insurgent in Qush Tepa district of Jawzjan against the government, joined the Afghan peace process with his 1 AK-47 and a motorbike.
Warmly received by Afghan security forces, the member of Taliban group promised to cooperate with security forces in maintaining security in the district.
