Kabul (BNA) Seven armed Taliban were killed in an operation conducted by ANA forces in Maiwand district, Kandahar province the other day.
According to national defense ministry press office to BNA, the operation carried out aim to eliminate armed insurgents in the outskirts of Maiwand district, Kandahar province, in which seven armed Taliban were killed and eight others wounded.
Numerous of heavy and light weapons and military equipment were seized.
According to another report, another operation conducted by ANA troops in the outskirts of Barki Barak district, Logar province, three rebels were killed and number of others detained.
Quantity of heavy and light weapons were discovered and seized in the operation.
