Gen. Dostum Attends WPC In Turkey

Kabul (BNA) The first vice president General Abdul Rashid Dostum in the second day of his official visit to Turkey attended the World Peace Conference (WPC) and the ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chanaq Qala war in Istanbul, BNA reported.
At the conference hosted by Turkey, was attended by delegates including scholars from more than 70 countries and exchanged views on the idea for world peace.
Speaking on the occasion, the Turkish Prime Minister Ahmad Daud Ughlo said that the outcome of war usually is destruction likewise in Chanaq Qala the war had claimed thousands of lives at that time which is a lesson for the world community to have unity and live in peace. 
At the end of the conference, the vice president Dostum met a number of the world dignitaries including Canadian minister for international affairs and former Prime Minister of New Zealand and exchanged views on variety of issues including women rights in Afghanistan.
