8 Armed Taliban Killed

Kabul (BNA) Eight Taliban rebels were killed in several combined operations of national police forces in the provinces of the country. 
Interior ministry press office said to BNA, in the last 24 hours,  the national police forces conducted three cleaning up operations in the outskirts of Kunar, Logar and Helmand provinces, in which 8 Taliban rebels were killed, 2 wounded and 4 others arrested by police. 
In these operations, a quantity of ammunition, explosive devices were seized by police forces. 
It should be said that the national police personnel in their patrol discovered and defused 16 mines and 7 gallons full of explosive materials which were placed by Taliban rebels for destructive and terrorist actions in the outskirts of Kandahar, Jouzjan and Baghlan provinces. 
According to another report, the Kabul 101 police zone personnel arrested six persons on charges of selling narcotic, killing and robbery from vicinities of 1st, 2nd, 6th and 17th districts of Kabul city. The arrested men are under investigation of police.
