Kandahar (BNA) Twelve assailants were killed and seven others were wounded in the latest clashes in Dand district of Kandahar province.
The clashes took place last night following a Taliban attack on a military base.
Twelve Taliban assailants were killed and seven others were wounded in the clashes, Kandahar police press office said in a statement.
In recent days, the security forces has reportedly cleared several villages of Dand District from Taliban militants.
