Kabul (BNA) The Association of Tribal Solidarity of Afghanistan (ATSA) has hailed the services of President Hamid Karzai and presented him an appreciation letter yesterday.
According to presidential press office to BNA, in a meeting held in Arg, the chairman of ATSA speaking on behalf of others said that president Karzai begun rebuilding process of Afghanistan from zero and has taken the country towards stability over the past 11 crucial years.
“During your outstanding leadership in Afghanistan the democracy has been strengthened and the country has made tremendous achievements. Your impartiality in the election process has boosted the democratic process in the country,” he said in his address.
The ATSA, he added has been composed of 170 social organizations, bodies and civil societies is appreciating your unforgettable services towards strengthening national unity and national building and by presenting the appreciation letter to your Excellency wishes more success to you.
Expressing his thanks to ATSA, president Karzai stated, “It is a matter of pride for me that the people of Afghanistan appreciate me.”
In his remarks, the president pointed out that Afghanistan is a beautiful country and located in a sensitive point and the unity of Afghan nation is unparalleled.
On the election process, president Karzai said that the election process is a national process because people from different parts of the country are seen within the teams of the presidential forerunner candidates.
The president also noted that Afghanistan is moving towards progress and prosperity, the country is at the hands of people and the people won’t elect wrong way. He also pointed out that, “We have a strong nation; if we have a strong government we would achieve more success.”
