Respecting elders and great personalities included in Afghanistan’s pure culture, but unfortunately in the Martyrdom anniversary of Ustad Burhanuddin Rabbani, the ex-president Hamid Karzai who was invited as the honor guest faced disrespect through support of certain elements which is being backed by the foreign intelligence, however the ceremony’s official in-charges had the responsibility to control the program and save the honor and dignity of the great personality as ex-president Hamid Karzai, the statement added. “I would like to condemn the incident which was far away from the pure Afghan culture and doing so would have no positive outcomes, rather to become a tool for foreign circles in disrespecting and assassination of the country’s elite figures,” National Security Advisor Hanif Atmar said, as quoted in the statement.
The government and people of Afghanistan would not allow anyone to benefit the foreign circles through disrespecting the country’s great personalities, however ex-president Karzai managed the incident in proper way, but the shameful act of the foreign circle’s servants was not acceptable and was a matter of regret to all Afghan nation, the statement concluded.
