High Council On Rule of Law & Anti-Corruption Holds Session

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by the President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the High Council on Rule of Law and Counter corruption held session on Thursday September 22, a presidential statement said.
According to the statement, the Attorney General Farid Hamidi said that the judicial and justice center has begun its activity and addressing the cases of accused individuals.
The meeting discussed coordination among the anti-corruption offices and called for preparing of a policy and clear vision on this aspect.
Addressing the session, President Ghani said that fight against the corruption needs practical steps so that to also improve people’s believe on government. The UN special representative for Afghanistan, EU envoy and representative of the Italian embassy applauded government’s establishment of judicial and justice center and assured of their durable support of National Unity Government’s programs.
