Kabul (BNA) In accordance with the provision of article 107 of the Constitution and in order to ensure participation of the members of the National Assembly in implementation of the national high interests of the people, recognition of the development priorities, ensuring of security in the country and creation of coordination with local organs, the provincial councils, ulema and elders of the provinces during the summer vacation of the members of the National Assembly the following is approved:
1. The members of the National Assembly during their summer vacation should inform the need for peace to enlighten public opinion ,
2. Should explain the process of transition of security responsibility that is the will of our people and necessitates the participation of the people in ensuring of security and cooperation with the security organs ,
3. Should elaborate on the benefits of the strategic long-term cooperation agreement between Afghanistan and the US and other countries ,
4. Supervise just distribution of the aid by the national disaster committee to the flood affected people ,
5. Supervise the process of progress of development projects ,
6. Cooperate with the government organs in elimination of corruption ,
7. The governors and security organs and security organs are responsible for ensuring the security of the members of the National Assembly and provincial council members and provide them with necessary facilities ,
8. The office of the minister of state for parliamentary affairs is instructed to prepare the reports and the proposals of the members of the National Assembly on issues stated above, compile them and present them to the presidential office in time.
