Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has deeply grieved by the twin explosions occurred in Istanbul, Turkey which left a number of innocent people dead and wounded, his office said in a statement.
On behalf of the people and government of Afghanistan, President Ghani offers his condolences and sympathies to the President and people of Turkey on this tragic incident, according to the statement. The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan said that by committing such inhumane acts, terrorists show that they have no mercy on anyone. He underscored that terrorism is a shared regional and international threat, and once again urged serious and joint measures against terrorist groups without making any distinctions between them, the statement added.
