Kabul (BNA) the Afghan and coalition forces in the last 24 hours killed 11 armed rebels in the province of the country.
Interior ministry’s press office said BNA the Afghan and coalition forces conducting cleansing operations in the relevant areas of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Baghlan, Jouzjan, Kandahar, Zabul, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Ghazi, Herat and Helmand provinces killed 11 armed rebels, wounded 2 and arrested 8 others.
It should be said that a quantity of light and heavy weapons, 250 kg of explosives were seized by national police forces.
Also the national police officials discovered and defused 5 mines which were planted by insurgents from different areas of Laghman, Faryab, Uruzgan and Paktia provinces.
