Kandahar City (BNA) An insurgent, who was involved in transferring weapons to Taliban terrorist group arrested by National Directorate Security (NDS) personnel in southern Kandahar province.
A source of NDS in the province stated BNA, the rebel was arrested during a special operation conducted by NDS personnel in the province.
The arrested suspect was accused in transferring weapons equipment from Pakistan to Taliban militants for launching terrorist attacks and internal wars in Kandahar province, the source added.
The person is resident of Panjwayee district and was arrested from Malang area, Daman district of the province.
Three Kalashnikovs and 300 bullets had been seized from the detained man, the source concluded.
