Eighty-Seven Insurgents Killed In ANSF Joint Military Operations

Kabul (BNA) At least 87 insurgents including four Daesh fighters were killed during joint mopping-up operations carried out by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in the past 24 hours across the country.
According to information of Ministry of National Defense press office to BNA, the joint military operations were conducted with support of Afghan Air and Artillery forces to suppress armed rebels in insecure areas of Nangarhar, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Kandahar, Farah, Herat, Takhar, Jawzjan, Kunduz, Badakhshan and Helmand provinces, as a result 87 rebels were killed and 32 others were wounded.
It has been said, the bodies of three Taliban local commanders are among the dead.
Also five Afghan National Army personnel were martyred during the operations and Ministry of National Defense officials wished paradise for them from Almighty Allah and great patience to their remained.
