‘Kabul Process’ Conference To Be Held Despite Bombing, President Ghani

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting Thursday with foreign ambassadors and representatives of various international organizations to Kabul said that Kabul Process conference would be held on its due time in Kabul.
In the meeting held in presidential palace, President Ghani praised various countries and international organizations for expressing sorrow and extending condolence to the people and government of Afghanistan over recent Kabul explosion. He said ministry of urban development and Kabul municipality had been instructed to renovate buildings including foreign embassies damaged due to recent terrorist incident in Kabul.
The country’s President further said that Afghanistan geographical location was connecting South to Central Asia and Europe; therefore, terrorist groups were trying to make safe haven in Afghanistan and by deteriorating and destabilizing Afghanistan they wanted also to destabilize the region and world, adding that all terrorist groups should be seen as a common threat. President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani asserted that ‘Kabul Process’ conference would be not only for Afghanistan but also for the region and world, adding that the process would be led by Afghanistan government and practical steps would be taken in this regard based on common visions. He further said that regional countries had common cooperation points and had been knotted in various sectors and we could have sound economic and cultural relations through diplomacy and regional cooperation.
