Baghlan Collects Monthly 3 Mln Afs from Cargo Trucks


BAGHLAN (BNA) The Public Works officials of Baghlan say that they have accelerate the monitoring of “high tonnage” cargo vehicles on the Kabul-Kunduz and Kabul-Balkh highways, so that the highways are not damaged.

In the meantime the scale revenues have increased, they said.

The provincial head of Baghlan Public Works, Mullah Abbas Akhund, told BNA that the control of heavy tonnage cargo vehicles in this province continues and the multiplication of cargo vehicles has been prevented.

Abbas said that trucks are currently being mulled on the roads of this province, and from this knowledge, about 3 million Afghanis are collected monthly and delivered to the government’s treasury account.
