Kabul (BNA) The activists of social society releasing a message clearly have said to the terrorists and extremists that do not poison science and knowledge, because we never desist, learning knowledge.
BNA analyst of educational issues commenting on the issue writes, recently a number of girl students in Harat city with spray a kind of poisonous gas were poisoned. The residents of the city calling it a terrorist act said that the terrorists and extremists by carrying such inhumane action want to create an atmosphere of threat and terror and prevent the students from attending schools and learning knowledge.
Although, the inhalation of a kind of gas being called the reason for the poisoning but still the reason of incident is not so clear. The number of students suffering from poisoning reaches 500 persons there has not been any document to show any concern. However, what is important is that the incident has caused the concern of the parents and families of the students and can be a security gap that provides the ground for the propagation of the armed oppositions to claim that the Afghan government does not have the capacity of ensuring the security of the citizens.
What has occurred within the last two weeks is the continuation of scenarios aiming to create concern among the people.
During a couple of years, we have experience the poisoning of students in Badakhshan, Takhar and Kabul provinces but fortunately, executers of such hideous acts not reach their evil goals and could not prevent the students going to schools and learning knowledge.
Following the above incidents, the recent incident in Harat where the people from cultural and educational point of view are in a better situation indicates that the enemies of this country beside the destruction of our economic and cultural infrastructures, they have also targeted the centers of knowledge and learning in the country.
Before the enemies resorted to poisoning of the students, they were engaged in violence actions against women. Taliban in Shendand and other districts of Harat repeatedly tried hard to prevent girls from going school. Fortunately, they have never succeeded to reach their satanic goal. The schools never closed and nobody surrendered to the threats of Taliban, which originated from ignorance and backwardness of them.
Recently, the students, teachers, and the activists of social society and the people of ancient Harat province in a rally issuing their message to terrorists and the enemies of science and technology that says: (Do not poison science and knowledge because we never desist and stop learning knowledge.)
The terrorist should not forget that learning knowledge and science is a pride of us inherited from our ancestors, therefore if you fire the schools, martyr the teachers, target the students, and destroy our cultural and historical monuments we will not surrender you. The terrorists should also know that the people in court established by the people will judge them and one day they have to response in that court regarding to their heinous actions.
