Kabul (BNA) Five narcotic drug smugglers were arrested during two separate military operations conducted by counter-narcotics drug police personnel in eastern Nangarhar province the other day.
Ministry of Interior in a statement issued reported, the smugglers were arrested in relevant areas of 9PD of Jalalabad city and Koot district of the province.
The smugglers skillfully have placed 28.5 kg narcotic drug type of opium (20kg) and heroin (8.5kg) in two vehicles and wanted to transfer to unknown areas, the statement added.
The dossiers of the suspects after primary investigations have delivered to judicial organs, the statement concluded.
