Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai felicitated nation on the eye-catching success of the country’s U-19 cricket team against the neighboring Pakistan, the presidential press office said Friday.
Afghanistan’s U-19 cricket team could defeat their Pakistani rivals during an unprecedented competition held in Lahore city of the neighboring country.
The president said the country’s cricketers through their consecutive efforts could trash Pakistan with 214 runs, the presidential palace added.
The president hoped further success for the country’s cricketers.
