Bamyan is Ready to Receive Foreign Tourists

BAMYAN (BNA) The Governor of Bamyan says that the security forces of Bamyan are strictly protecting the touristic areas and tourists in that province.

Bamyan Governor Mawlawi Abdullah Sarhadi spoke to the media on Monday about security, tourism and the recent visit of a high-level UN delegation to Bamyan.
According to BNA reports, the Governor of Bamyan assured that security is ensured throughout Bamyan and that the lives and property of the people is safe from any consequences.
The Governor of Bamyan in link to the recent visit of a high-level UN delegation, said “they have discussed on health issues, education, agricultural and development infrastructure projects, as well as the continuation of humanitarian aid to Bamyan residents.
“The UN delegation promised that they will pay more attention to sectors of health, education, agriculture, implementation of infrastructure and development projects, and the continuation and increase of humanitarian aid in Bamyan.” He added.
He noted that the Bamyan local government is seriously protecting the province’s touristic and archeological sites and will not allow anyone to destroy or seize the province’s touristic and historical sites.

The Governor of Bamyan emphasized that they welcome the presence of domestic and foreign tourists in the ancient province of Bamyan and promises them that they will travel in peace and security in this ancient province and visit the historical and ancient sites of Bamyan province.

Based to another news, the UN delegation visited the Bamyan prison on Monday to discuss prisoner’s problems with the prison’s director.
Local authority of the province said that the delegation promised to cooperate to face the problems of Bamyan’s prison.
