KABUL (BNA) In a series of humanitarian aid from neighboring and regional countries to Afghanistan, an 11-ton cargo of humanitarian aid from Bangladesh arrived in Kabul today, Tuesday, said, officials.
The aid cargo includes spices, milk, and blankets and will be distributed to the earthquake victims of Paktia and Khost provinces, said the Afghan Ministry of Disaster Management.
Hailing Bangladesh, the head of information and public relations of the Ministry, Mohammad Nasim Haqqani said that this aid consignment will be transferred to the earthquake-affected sites to distribute among quake victims.
Meanwhile, he called on the national and international aid organizations to continue their assistance to the families of southeast quake victims.
Earlier, some neighboring and regional countries, including Pakistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, China, India, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, have delivered humanitarian aid to the earthquake victims of Khost and Paktika provinces.
