Bayat Groups to Resume Investment Activities in the Country

KABUL (BNA) Deputy Prime Minister of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, received Ehsanullah Bayat, President of the Bayat Foundation in his office in Kabul, Saturday.

A meeting concentrated on economic, investment in sectors of health, electricity, and telecommunications was held, said a statement by deputy Prime Minister’s office.

According to the statement, Bayat the president of the foundation states readiness to invest in the above-mentioned sectors in the country.

Meanwhile, deputy PM Baradar said: “We admire and support the interests of businessmen and investors in the economic reconstruction of the country.”

“Anyone who invests in Afghanistan and provides job opportunities for the people, we will support him and assure them of their security in the country.” He added.

During the meeting, the deputy Prime Minister Baradar praised the services already provided in different sectors by the Bayat foundation in the country, added to the statement.

Bayat foundation group is said to be the largest private business investment company in Afghanistan, AWCC and Ariana TV network one of the two companies of Bayat groups foundation with a large number of Afghans’ employees in the country.
