France Cultural Assistance More Important Than Military Aids, VP Danesh

Kabul (BNA) Second Vice President Sarwar Danesh held a farewell meeting with outgoing France ambassador in Kabul, France Wareshia, BNA reported yesterday.
During the meeting, both sides while stressing on bolstering relations between the two countries, discussed variety of other related issues, BNA further said.
Afterwards, VP Danesh appreciated France for its assistances in terms of security, health, agriculture, education and particularly those in the area of culture and historical monuments repair, the agency added.  He said political relations between the two countries turned back to a century ago and have always followed with achievements.
Appreciating France archeology delegation (DAFA)’s function in Afghanistan, VP Danesh said starting political relations between the two countries have had cultural nature and after establishment of DAFA in 1922, the relations have been growing up.
France archeology delegation has vastly cooperated in reconstruction of some historical heritages in Herat, Balkh Kabul, Bamyan and a number of other provinces.
VP Danesh called these cooperation more important than those in areas of political, economy and military.
France outgoing ambassador while calling enhancing political relations between Afghanistan and France a priority, assured of his country particularly DAFA’s continued cooperation with the government and people of Afghanistan.
According to him, an exhibition of Afghanistan cultural and historical relics is expected to be held in 2022 in France a move that welcomed by VP Danesh.
He hoped such an exhibition to be held in Afghanistan as well.
