Herat (BNA) A military checkpoint in Herat was targeted by a bomb.
The checkpoint is located in Injeel District and targeted a blast this morning.
Herat police spokesman Abdul Ahad Valizada, said BNA and confirmed the blast but did not comment on possible casualties.
But Herat health official says the bodies of two soldiers were taken to hospital after the blast.
He said three people were injured in the blast.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast, but local sources have blamed the Taliban.
