Kabul (BNA) Five armed commanders of Taliban were arrested in a combined operation of Afghan and NATO forces in Afghanistan.
These commanders attributed to Taliban and Haqani network and were arrested while making terrorist activities in the vicinities of Speen Boldak and Panjwai of Kandahar, Nawzad district of Helmand and Pul-e-Alam of Logar province.
BNA quoting from NATO press statement said, these commanders targeted by Afghan and foreign forces while they were making terrorist attacks in their regions.
It is said, in these military operations, a number of other militias attributed to these commanders were killed and arrested.
NATO said that they seized three arms and narcotic cache of Taliban in these operations.
This statement said nothing about Afghan, NATO and civilians casualties in these operations.
