President Ghani Supports Alternatives Energy Sources to Reduce Air Pollution

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a meeting with members of service, production and industrial associations on renewable energy discussed efforts to substitute solar energy systems for fossil fuels, here the other day at the Presidential Palace.
The president said the government put efforts in place to replace alternative energy sources with fuel and coal in order to reduce air pollution.
The president highlighted that the government will consider this concept not only for government institutions, but for townships, private institutions, public baths, airports and factories to be able to deal with air pollution in a sustainable and effective fashion, according to the statement.
