Kabul (BNA) A message has been dispatched on behalf of President Hamid Karzai addressed to Vladimir Putin President of Russia on the national day of that country.
The message notes that please allow me represent the people of Afghanistan to convey my sincerest felicitations to you and the friendly people of Russian Federation on the national day of your country.
His Excellency! Friendly relations between Afghanistan and the Russian Federation have expanded in the past 12 years.
Afghanistan considers ties with friendly Russian Federation as very important and always wishes its further expansion in all dimensions.
In the recent years we had opportunities and common threats and both countries should utilize the opportunities and put up joint struggle against the threats.
Participation of our countries under the umbrella of Shanghai cooperation organization has brought about new opportunities of cooperation between us that will led towards peace and welfare of the people in the region and we have long path towards attaining this aim to move together and in cooperation with other regional friendly nations.
Availing on this opportunity I wish you good health and further welfare and progress for the friendly Russian Federation.
