Seminar On Naqshbandi Religious Way Held In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) Initiated by the ministry of information and culture the Naqshbandi way of life seminar was opened in Kabul with a message of President Karzai.
Attended by some religious scholar’s from the center and provinces, representatives of the people at the National Assembly, religious cultural personalities, and some high ranking in charges was organized at the International Press Center of the ministry.
To begin with, a message of President Karzai was read by Nabi Frahi deputy minister of information and culture.
The message read in part:” the Naqshbandi way of life has found its way into our country and many Allah’s Lovers followed the path of Naqshbandi.
Mary religious personalities of the country, poets and writers followed this path and they tried their best to attain the satisfaction and blessing of Allah.
The message also appreciated the ministry and Dr. Raheen for holding this seminar and reiterated that the articles of the seminar be printed.
Dr. Sayed Makhdom Raheen Minister of Information and Culture addressed the seminar and said the Islam Sufism has been pursed by the lovers of Allah and the path of right in our country especially in Balkh, Herat, Ghazni, Kabul, Gardez and this way brought up great communities that the Islamic Culture praise them.
Of the Naqshbandi path one was that emerged in the 8th HS century in Bukhara and Balkh and that emergence of this way was called in the name of Khwajagan in the 6th HS almost two centuries before its second founder Hazrate Bahauddeen Naqshband, In Kabul he was called as Bahaudeen Balagardan and its founder was Khwaja Abdul Khaliq Ghajdwani.
Ghajdwani was the person that had started the Sufism of this time in the manner that for centuries had met irregularities.
Dr. Raheen added that the Naqshbandi path of life had brought up great people in our country including Khwaja Mohammad Parsa whose tom is in Balkh and Mawlana Yaqub Charkhi Logar and his tomb is in Dushanbeh of Tajikistan and others.
According to Dr. Raheen the Naqshbandis followed simplicity, calmness and general they followed the Mohammadi Sunnite.
He stressed that great personality of Islam especially those following the path of Naqshbandi were earning their bread on their own. They call this path Naqshbandi after Khwaja Bahaudeen Naqshband and they call this those who weaved their clothes on their own and since Naqshband was engaged in this craft and met his needs through this path are also called after him.
Dr. Raheen added that many elders live today and yesterday in our different cities that are following the path of Naqshbani.
Prof. Nematullah Shahrani senior advisor in religious affairs of the Presidential office praised Dr. Raheen for initiating this seminar. He said Islam is the most complete and comprehensive religion that is keeping the names and services of its elders and personalities and praise their achievements.
Dr. Ayaz lecturer of the theology faculty of Kabul University and Imam of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan also shed light on the obligations human beings.
Qazi Mohammad Nazeer Hanafi representative of the people from Herat while appreciating the initiative of the information and culture ministry said worship is the basics of live of human beings and added that everyone should live in the light of worshiping Allah.
Mawlawi Jura minister advisor of presidential office also talked on this occasion.
The message of the Kabul University was readout to the seminar by Pro. Mohammad Afzal Banwal and the message of academy of science of Afghanistan by Mohammad Aslam Afzali, the message of Sayed Mansur Nadiri the head of the Nesar Khesru Balkhi foundation by Mohammad Ershad Manawi.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Afsar Rahbeen head of the Culture information and culture ministry presented the biography of Khwaja Bahuadeen Naqshband.
He said that Khwaja Bahaudeen Naqshband was son of Mohammad Bujhari born in the month of Muhrarran of 717 HQ and on the basis of information he was born in 721 HQ at the Arefan Palace (Palace of Hindwan) of Bukhara. According to Mawlana Abdul Rehman Jami he had been accepted as son by Khwaja Mohammad Babay Samasi and he has learned the path of Naqshbani form Sayed Amir Kulal and other say that he got it from Khwaja Abdul Khaliq Ghajdwani. Many works remained from Khwaja Naqshbandi like Qudsia.
Alawardabahania, Alwardat in Dari, and Dalilu Asheqeen and other irregular poems in Dari language. After 63 years he died in 791 HQ and was born in Bahaudeen area at a 12 km distance from Bukhara city.
A number of scholars read their articles in praise of the path of Naqshbandi at the yesterday’s seminar.
The seminar will continue its work for today as well.
