Kabul (BNA) During the last 24 hours 11 armed insurgents killed in an operation conducted by Afghan National Army (ANA) in Helmand province.
Defense ministry spokesman press office said BNA, ANA forces to eliminate armed oppositions launched clearing operation under the code of Oqab (Eagle) in which 11 armed insurgents were killed and 2 others wounded in Sangin district of Helmand province.
The Source added, some weapons and war equipment have been seized following the operation.
According to another report, ANA forces discovered and frustrate 59 anti-vehicle mines during their security mission in different parts of the country.
