Number of Visitors to Logar Local Museum is Growing Daily

KABUL (BNA) The number of visitors to the province’s local museum is growing daily said officials at the Logar Information and Culture Department.

Mohammad Ameen Nasseri, the general administrator of the museum, said to Bakhtar News Agency, that in the wake of Islamic Emirate sovereignty security has been ensured in the country, which resulted in an increase in the number of visitors to the province dramatically.

He mainly indicates the frequent reasons for the increase in the number of tourists in the province.

According to Nasseri, at the current state, there are more than 100 historical artifacts, handicrafts, and other historical items in the Logar Regional Museum, which have been handed over to the museum free of cost by the culture-friendly residents of the province.

Meanwhile, Director of Information and Culture of Logar Rafiullah Samim told BNA, that more than three acres of land in Pul-e-Alam city have been measured for Logar provincial museum and its construction scheme has been approved by the relevant ministry.

Officials of the Logar Local Museum urged the residents of the province to spare no effort in making the museum profitable and donate any artifacts and relics in their homes to the museum for better preservation.

The Logar Local Museum was established in the year 1394 AH alongside the building of the Public Library of the Department of Information and Culture and has more than 100 historical artifacts, handicrafts, and other historical items in it.
