Jalalabad (BNA) Seven armed insurgents were detained in a clearing operation carried out by security forces in Achen district, Nangarhar province yesterday.
The insurgents were targeted by security troops in their hideout in Batikot district and arrested.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, the terrorists were affiliated to Taliban group and detained while organizing terrorist and destructive activities.
Another report says that three Daesh fighters were arrested in an ambush of security forces in Nangarhar province.
