Kabul (BNA) A taxi driver was gunned down by Taliban rebels in central Parwan province the night before last.
Saifullah Bedar district governor of Koh Safi confirming the news told BNA reporter, the incident took place, while a group of armed oppositions nightfall stormed on the house of the taxi driver, first took him and then martyred in Mominkhail village Koh Safi district of the province.
Taliban militants requested money for submitting of the taxi driver’ body from his family, but Afghan security forces has launched a military operation in the area and after clashes, the rebels forced to flee from the region and the body seized by security personnel, Bedar added.
