Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Fifteen armed Taliban were killed by security forces operation in Balkh yesterday.
Mohammad Haneef Rezaee Shaheen 209 army corps told BNA, the Taliban were killed in security and defense forces operation with support of air forces in Shoreq village, Shortapa district.
Five Taliban including Abdul Manan and Mullah Asad to Taliban commanders were injured in the operation and Shoreq village has been clear from insurgents.
Several undergrounds Taliban hideouts were also demolished.
It is said that 45 Taliban were killed two days ago in Balkh District, and 23 other Taliban have been arrested.
