Ahmadi Meets Palestinian Non-Resident Ambassador To Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Deputy foreign minister on political affairs Irshad Ahmadi in a meeting with Palestinian non-resident ambassador to Afghanistan Walid Abu Ali submitted a banking check of $500,000 assistance of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Palestinian ambassador for affected Palestinians of recent Israeli military attacks on Gaza.
In the meeting, deputy foreign minister on political affairs while expressing condolence over martyrdom of a large number of Palestinians as a result of recent Israeli attacks on Gaza condemned the brutal attacks causing innocent civilians martyred and injured including women and children, adding that Afghanistan expressed its concerns over condition in Palestine including Jerusalem resulted in a lot of problems for our Palestinian brothers and sisters and asked for further efforts of regional and international related to ending the condition.
He said as usual the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan was supporting the right of the people of Palestine as an independent country and Jerusalem as the country’s capital. In return, the Palestinian non-resident ambassador to Afghanistan expressed gratitude over cash assistance of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Gaza affected and said, “Permanent support of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan from justified right of the Palestinians’ freedom and self-determination was an obvious sign of sympathy of brother nation Afghanistan with the people of Palestine, which will never be forgotten.
