Humanitarian Aid Distributed To IDPs In Kabul

Kabul (BNA) The minister of refugees and repatriation affairs Dr. Jamahir Anwari had distributed humanitarian assistance provided by UNHCR to 438 families of internally displaced people (IDPs) in Kabul on the other day.
The package includes wheat, cooking oil, char coal, blankets, rockery and tarpaulin were distributed to the destitute families in Bagh-e-Zanana area.
Expressing his gratitude to contributing aid agencies, Dr. Anwari called for more assistance to the needy families in winter.
Kabul governor also in his speech demanded more assistance to the impoverished families and IDPs living in Kabul.
The UN Refugee agency (UNHCR) has already assisted with 353 needy families and Laghman and 192 families in Baghlan provinces.
