Parliament Discusses Important National Issues

Kabul (BNA) Chaired by Mirwais Yaseeni first secretary of the parliament, the deputies discussed important issues of the country and asked the government authorities to respect the resolutions of the National Assembly in accord with the constitution.
The deputies took note of specifying of huge US dollars as salaries for public order personnel of interior ministry, emphasized on distribution of electronic identity cards before the election of 1393, transfer of Khushal Khan clinic to the Silo area, obtaining of high fees by the private universities and hospitals, non-addressing to the Garden Dewar project, inattention of backward provinces and some other important issues. 
Some of the deputies raised the problem in distribution of scholarships for the students and seeking of guarantees from them by the ministry of higher education and added that normally the scholarships are given on the basis of personal relations and they proposed that a single organ should be specified for this purpose. 
They also informed over the hard conditions of Nomads and Baluch tribes whose private agricultural lands have been usurped illegally by the ministry of agriculture and irrigation.
The deputies welcomed delivery of the Bagram prison to the government sovereignty, but warmed that in case the inmates of this prison are freed they will pose a serious danger for security and stability of the country, so their files are needed to be precisely studied.
They also discussed security situation in the country and touched on the recent assertions of interior minister over the prevailing technical and structural problems within the security forces, insecurity in Kapisa urging that the security forces should possess the freedom of action against the criminals to improve security in the country.
