Kabul (BNA) Chairing the cabinet meeting, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani tasked the state organs to monitor the cabinet resolutions on time implementation and report to the presidential directorate of administrative affairs within two weeks, a statement from his office said.
The cabinet also approved the ministry of justice corrected work plan for 1395 of the government, as well as draft on the similar period support, protection of plants verities, protection of domestic industries, protection of innovator and prospector rights and foreign commodities trade. It also approved the draft law on veterinary—livestock health in principle, the statement said.
The cabinet also tasked the ministries of commerce and industries, health, agriculture and irrigation and justice, under the chairmanship of the second vice-president to investigate and finalize the draft, according to the statement.
The cabinet also inked the draft on the income taxes and draft on adjustment of some laws of additional price tax and adjustment and nullification draft of some rules on importing medications and medical materials presented by the ministry of justice to the meeting, the statement further said.
The ministry of finance’s presented budget of 1395 reaching to 123 billion Afghanis, had also been approved by the cabinet meeting, with the president tasking the ministries and administration to refer to the ministry of finance, if faced any problem in the consumption of the budget, the statement added.
40 percent increase in the stipends of the government retired workers reaching to 376 million Afghanis, have also been inked by the cabinet, the statement continued.
The area designed to be constructed as the building of Minting Printing Press in the area of Jangalak, where a public health ministry related clinic has been reported to sustain damage, had been said to be fully surveyed for not damaging the clinic and the area for the Minting Printing Press should be designed in the separated nearby site. The ministry of public health had been tasked to arrange the project for building the printing press, by protecting the 300-bed hospital nearby.
