President Ghani, Pakistani PM Discuss Peace, Regional Connectivity Via Phone

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan on Sunday talked over the phone and discussed the Afghanistan peace process and regional connectivity, BNA reported.
Pakistani PM told President Ghani that his country was ready to extend all possible cooperation to the Afghan government in brining stability and peace to the war-torn country. PM Imran Khan said he endorsed President Ghani’s regional economic integration vision and stressed the need for delegation level talks on technical issues. The Pakistani premier invited President Ghani to visit Pakistan for detailed discussion on economic issued and regional connectivity and the President accepted his invitation. President Ghani commended PM Imran Khan’s commitment to peace in Afghanistan said they welcomed the newly invented spirit of regional economic integration. President Ghani, who accepted Khan’s invitation to visit Pakistan, said a date should be fixed for his visit through diplomatic channels of the two countries.
