Kabul (BNA) Five armed Taliban were killed and 18 others were detained in operations of security forces which were conducted in the several provinces of the country yesterday.
The Interior Ministry press office said to BNA, the security forces including police, in 24 last hours conducted operations in Kabul, Nangarhar, Baghlan, Helmand, Maidan-Wardak and Badakhshan provinces, killed five armed Taliban and detained 18 others.
In these operations, the security forces seized light and heavy arms consists of 28 heavy arms, 6508 light weapons, 4 mines, 10 kg explosive materials, a suicide vest coat, a PK machine gun and rocket shells with a vehicle.
