Saudi Arabia Assists Needy Families

Kabul (BNA) The government of Saudi Arabia provided 95 tons food items to needy families in Afghanistan.
Receiving the package at Kabul International Airport, an envoy to Presidential Palace, Mohammad Qasim Halimi said this is the second aid package provided by Saudi Arabia to Afghanistan.
The first package of the assistance included date, flour, rice, cooking oil and bean, the official said, adding the second package includes blankets, mattresses and tents.
Besides thanking Saudi Arabia, Halimi said that the items would be given to the Natural Disaster Management Authority to help the needy people across the country.
