NSA Leaves for New York to Attend UNGA

Kabul (BNA) National Security Advisor Dr. Hamdullah Mohib has left for New York to attend and deliver his remarks at the 74th United Nation General Assembly where he will highlight Afghanistan’s current status, presidential elections and peace process.
During the visit, the country’s National Security Advisor will also meet with the United Nation Secretary General Antonio Guterres to discuss cooperation between UN and Afghanistan. In the assembly, Dr. Mohib will announce the Afghan government and people’s stance on peace and call on the world countries to extend their support for the Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace process.
