Nooristan (BNA) A senior commander of armed Taliban was killed in a clash by Afghan forces last night.
Mullah Shir Mohammad was killed while he with his followers attacked on a security post in the vicinities of Noorgeram district.
Gholamullah Nooristani a police official of Nooristan said to BNA, in this clash which continued one hour, Mullah Shir Mohammad with his two follower were killed and others were wounded.
According to police official of Nooristan, in this clash the Afghan forces had no casualties.
Mullah Shir Mohammad was a senior commander of Mullah Alawoiddin an armed commander of Taliban in Nooristan province.
In charges of that province said that Mullah Shir Mohammad carried out tens terrorist attacks on Afghan forces and local authorities in that province.
Police officials of Nooristan said, a quantity of arms of Taliban were seized by Afghan forces and the body of Mullah Shir Mohammad was transferred to the local people this morning.
