Khalili Stresses On Mutual Cooperation of People And Government To Overcome Current Challenges

Kabul (BNA) Members of tribal council for Wardak province met yesterday afternoon with second vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili here in Kabul.
In the meeting a number of elders and influenced figures of the province enumerated the province’s problems to the vice president.
Dr. Kalimzai and Haji Majid, two representatives of Maidan/Wardak were also the participants of the meeting.
Complaining of bad security situation in the province, the elders asserted in spite of existing security posts and checkpoints the vehicle are set on fire and people are abducted.
According to the elders, during the last few years, no infrastructural projects such as clinic, road and schools have been launched in the province, asked for asphalting the roads of Jaghato and Chak districts.
The elders also asked to be accelerate the construction work of the university in the province and active participation of local people in the governmental structures of that province.
In the meeting, vice president Mohammad Karim Khalili while expressing happiness for meeting the elders expressed his sadness for insecurity in that province.
The vice president also asserted he would soon hold a session with participation of the province’s elders, parliamentarians, and number of ministers and government officials in order to overcome the current challenges which Wardak residents were facing with.
While stressing on mutual cooperation role of people and government for the purpose of overcoming the challenges, the vice president emphasized they would be able to overcome the challenges by following the laws and continuous efforts.
