Faizabad (BNA) Twenty one members of a family, those were victimized due to recent avalanches founded under snow and drew out from snow in Badakhshan yesterday.
Avalanche took place two days ago in Arak village of Wakhan district.
Sanaullah Amiri director of counter-natural disaster administration of Badakhshan said that one injured and twenty one dead bodies have been took out by rescue teams, FOCUS, Aghan Khan Foundation and local people in Arak village of Wakhan district.
Amiri did not provide more details about number of children, women and men were among victims.
He said the wounded person shifted to Wakhan hospital and by completing the rescue operation a quantity of food items distributed to local people that were provided by FOCUS and Agha Khan Foundation.
